Board and Train Programs

5 DAY BASIC MANNERS PROGRAM:
Our five day residency program includes Basic Obedience Training for your dog at Alpha Paws with two follow-up lessons for your family plus all training equipment. With this first level of training the main focus is on building attention span and teaching your dog how to learn. All commands are taught on leash and given from your side. Basic manners are emphasized, such as sitting at doors, not pulling on leash, not jumping up and learning how to take food politely. We use both hand signals and verbal commands-HEEL, AUTOSIT, SIT, DOWN and STAY.

10 DAY BASIC OBEDIENCE PROGRAM:
Our ten day residency program includes basic as well as drop leash training for your dog at Alpha Paws with five follow-up lessons for your family plus all training equipment. This level of training takes your dog through the transition of understanding what the commands mean, to knowing that they must be obeyed. At this level your dog will understand that manners are expected in everyday life situations. We include all BASIC commands, MOTION commands, COME,"GO LIE ON MAT" as well as introduce increased distance and distraction during training sessions.

10 DAY OFF LEASH PROGRAM:
Our 10 Day Off-Leash residency program is our most extensive training program. It offers off leash training, indoors and outdoors in a fenced yard, at Alpha Paws, 5 follow-up lessons for your family including all training equipment. At this level, most owners are stunned to see what their dog can do and how well they work. Your dog will be working off leash with many distractions. Hand signals are given separately from verbal commands and teach your dog to pay closer attention to who ever works them even through distraction.
